dog training in gretna, louisiana
Doberman Dynamics was named in honor of my first Doberman, Lena, whom I unexpectedly lost in 2023. My dogs are more than pets—they are my team. Each one has played a crucial role in my journey as a trainer. These incredible dogs demonstrate the effectiveness of the training methods I use and teach! Benson
Prima's hear me roar
Benson was born in October of 2023 and joined our family from Prima Dobermans, and his story is a special one. He was born just a few hours after Lena passed away, making his arrival particularly meaningful. Training Benson has been a blast, and he has already started his journey in AKC obedience and dog sports. I have high hopes for him as both a performance dog and a service dog. Benson and I are also diving into new sports together such as conformation and agility. We are excited for the challenge and can't wait to see what he can accomplish!

Bodhi, is a phenomenal Labrador Retriever who was acquired from a service dog program in 2022 at 10mths old. Bodhi has exceptional talent, boasting multiple titles across various venues, and he's always up for a new challenge. He continues to impress us every day! Training with Bodhi has been an absolute blast—he excels at everything he tries, from obedience to dog sports. His friendly demeanor means he never meets a stranger, and his affectionate nature has earned him the title of the ultimate love bug. Whether he's working, playing, being a therapy dog, or just being his lovable self, Bodhi makes every day a little brighter and a lot more fun.
Sassy Simone
BN RI CGCA
Simone is my spirited, 15 year old American Cocker Spaniel. Simone's journey with me began when her previous owner surrendered her as a puppy to the vet clinic where I worked. She quickly became my first partner in AKC obedience, and we learned so much together. Unfortunately, her promising career was cut short by a diagnosis of IVDD. In 2019, Simone faced a critical moment when she became extremely ill and required emergency surgery to remove her gallbladder. She recovered well, though it left some damage to her liver. In 2021, Simone became paralyzed and needed a wheelchair. She had a very low odd of success for surgery, but I refused to give up on her. Miraculously, after five months, she began walking again and continued to grow stronger. Simone is now enjoying her golden years as my little immortal freeloader, with plenty of opinions about everything. Despite her challenges, she remains a resilient and beloved member of the family, living life to the fullest each day.

In Loving Memory of
Lena Lou

Lena was adopted from Gulf Coast Doberman Rescue as a puppy and quickly became an integral part of my life. I trained her to be my medical alert and response service dog, a role she fulfilled with exceptional dedication and skill. Lena was my heart and soul dog—the once in a lifetime companion who leaves an indelible mark on your life. She loved everyone she met and served as a patient teacher for all my foster dogs and board & train clients. Lena unexpectedly passed away in 2023 and is greatly missed, but her legacy continues to inspire and guide our work at Doberman Dynamics.
Onyx
Onyx, my 24 year old retired Western Pleasure horse, is a deeply cherished member of our family. He was gifted to me by a close friend who recognized the unique and immediate bond we had formed, and that connection has only grown stronger over the years. Onyx is the definition of a gentle soul — endlessly patient, kind, and affectionate, and the type of horse who truly never meets a stranger.

In his retirement, Onyx has found a beautiful new purpose at Renew Therapeutic Riding Center here in Michigan. There, he spends his days offering quiet strength, comfort, and connection to individuals with disabilities. His calm presence and intuitive nature make him especially suited for therapy work, and it’s a gift to see him continue to change lives simply by being who he is. I’m still able to visit and ride Onyx, and I often attend his lessons to watch him work with riders — a reminder of how powerful the human–animal bond can be.
